🇺🇸 Patriot Monument Dedication Ceremony — A Memorable Day of Remembrance 🇺🇸
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, members and guests gathered to honor our patriot ancestors at the Patriot Monument dedication ceremony in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Although rain required us to move the ceremony indoors to the Elks Lodge, the spirit of the day remained strong. Once the weather cleared, we were able to gather outside at First Street Square for a moving musket salute at the monument, honoring the patriots who helped secure our nation’s independence and later settled in Bradley County.
Sponsored by the Ocoee Chapter, NSDAR, and the Col. Benjamin Cleveland Chapter, TNSSAR, this special America 250 commemoration also honored five patriots whose final resting places have been lost to time.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the City of Cleveland, the Elks Lodge, our participating organizations, and everyone who helped make this meaningful day possible. A special thank you to Tennessee America 250 Commission for providing the grant to make the project a reality.
