We had a great time at Self-Discovery 24 RCO's Spring Into Recovery event today. We got to connect with other recovery resources in the area, meet new people and connect with friends. Multiple recovery champions were able to share their stories with everyone. Rain, or shine, recovery shows up.

Join us on Sunday, June 14th at 12:00 PM for our next Recovery Hike as we explore the beautiful High Shoals Falls trail.

This hike is approximately 2.5 miles round trip and features beautiful waterfalls along with areas where you can cool off and enjoy the water.

Be sure to bring water, proper footwear, and anything else you may need for the trail. We hope to see you there.

This past Sunday, we got to enjoy Ash Creek Loop for our monthly Recovery Hike. Ash Creek Trail is located not far from Helen, close to Smithgall Woods. Keep an eye out for our next Recovery Hike. And, as always, if you have any suggestions for future hikes then please feel free to share them.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today at our new Lumpkin location as we partnered with Georgia Overdose Prevention Project to provide Narcan and overdose response training.

Events like these are an important reminder that education, compassion, and preparedness can save lives. We are grateful for the opportunity to help make these resources more accessible to our community and to have meaningful conversations around overdose prevention and recovery support.

Thank you again to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and took part in helping build a safer and more informed community.

Bridge Recovery has been doing great things in our community for years and finally in the next few weeks they will be opening their Dahlonega office on Memorial Drive. Today until 1:00pm they will have tents set up in the parking lot. Come by and meet the staff and learn about what they offer our community.
