🐾 Milk Money Monday 🍼✨

At Smithwick Station, our tiniest wild ones rely on special goat milk to grow strong and healthy — and right now, our fawns are drinking us dry! 🦌💚

A donation of just $5 can buy a whole day’s worth of formula for a hungry baby. Will you help us fill their bottles and their bellies?

Let’s turn Monday into a day of kindness. Every drop counts. 🍼🤎 Smithwick Station is a 501c3 non-profit and we operate solely off of your donations. Any amount is tax deductible!

As fawn season ramps up, I have decided to take a year off from rehabbing fawns so that I can find some inner peace (losing my sister and my mom in the last year was incredibly hard so I need to fix me before I can save more babies). Please understand, I am still in the back drop helping here and there. Lots of other Georgia rehabbers need lots of love, resources and volunteers this season so please help when and where you can. Follow GWN (image below) and they will be sharing lots of great stories. As always….. we could not do what we do without you!!!! Thank you!!!

From time to time I jump in and help other wildlife beside deer. This red tail was hit by a UPS truck and rode from Gainesville to Cleveland, ga. By the time it got to me it was almost dead from the cold and shock…. After a bit of time in a box on a heating pad in the dark, he/she perked up. He was released this morning and had no issues flying. Thanks to Beth for assisting.

Here are some other rehabbers that I work with to help for giving Tuesday.

It's Giving Tuesday!!

Georgia Wildlife Network is a helpline that connects the public with licensed rehabbers who can properly care for orphaned & injured wildlife. We also arrange for transportation to rehabbers when necessary. We provide education on Georgia's wildlife to help determine when it's time to intervene. We couldn't do what we do without the amazing rehabbers in our community. Please consider donating to one of our rehab partners in honor of Giving Tuesday. A list of our most frequently used rehabbers can be found here as well as how to donate to them: https://www.georgiawildlifenetwork.com/rehabberdonations

Please check with your place of employment, as many match donations for Giving Tuesday for approved 501(c)(3) organizations.

Thank you for caring about our wildlife.

Today is giving Tuesday. If you feel led, please support my nonprofit. Your donation will help towards p*e pads, formula but most importantly vet care. This summer I took in 27 fawns. It takes a village and yall are my village. I couldn’t do this without you.

Thank you!
