It is almost impossible to put into words what this community has meant to us.

What started as an idea to bring women together has turned into five years of connection, laughter, friendship, support, collaboration, and showing up for one another in real life.

And none of it happens without you.

To every woman who has bought a ticket, invited a friend, walked into an event not knowing anyone, kept coming back, shared our posts, cheered us on, and helped make Social Oak what it is — thank you.

To the local business owners who open your doors, share your spaces, welcome our crazy ideas, and allow us to gather month after month — thank you.

Without this community, without the local businesses, and without every single person who continues to show up, we would not be here celebrating five years.

Social Oak has always been about more than events.

It’s about women having a place to connect.
It’s about supporting local.
It’s about walking into a room and knowing you belong.
It’s about community.

Karaoke Brunch is heading to Royal Oak Brewery and you are officially invited!

We’re bringing the brunch, the bottomless mimosas, the microphones, the glow sticks, and the kind of Sunday energy that makes you forget you have laundry waiting at home.

DJ Jen Funk will be there keeping the party going, and all you need to bring is your people, your favorite sing-along voice, and the willingness to maybe absolutely crush a song you have no business singing in public.

Social Oak Night Out at Back Nine (Clarkston)

This is NOT a “you have to be good at golf” kind of night.
It’s a come-as-you-are, all-levels, even-nongolfers welcome kinda vibe.

Golf simulators will be going all night
Some bays = real golf
Some bays = games (think darts + skee ball… but make it golf)
Sips + snacks
Hang with your people

BONUS: Pro golfer Kimberley Brennan will be there giving tips + tricks to help your swing (or at least help you feel confident doing it 😉).
