Feeling so grateful for last night 🤍

What a beautiful night it was. The things that were said, the people that we talked to, it just couldn’t have been more perfect.

Thank you to St Joes and everyone involved in making Wave of Light happen. I’m so thankful for all of the employees, health care professionals, and true friends we’ve met throughout our journey.

We honored Andrew Sloan and so so many more lives last night. Lives that have touched so many, and will not be forgotten. We love you all.

Many of you know, but many of you don’t, but I homeschool my children. My oldest child is six years old. At the time of my stillbirth, he had just turned two years old.

He grew up with grieving parents. He visits the grave with us every week. He has been to every Wave of Light event we’ve been to. And he is not ashamed to tell people he has a brother who died. And I am so proud of him.

Today after our lessons, our craft was to make pretend candles. Because today is such a special day for our family. And these boys are so excited to attend Wave of Light tonight.

One thing I hear frequently is, “I had no idea we had that in the Valley!”

The truth is that we have some pretty incredible people doing great things for families right here in our community.

This is a resource guide featuring the local businesses and professionals who were a part of The Community Baby Shower, so you know who they are, what they do, and how to get in touch with them.

I'm fortunate to work alongside people who genuinely care about the families they serve, and I hope this helps more families find them!

During this month we remember. We remember our children. We remember each other. We remember our stories. And on October 15th we come together during the global wave of light.

This October we want to remember your babies with you. We want to say their names and we want to pray for you. Submit your child’s name below or in our stories. 🤍
