🚨 With the recent detection of New World screwworm in a 3-week-old bovine in Zavala County, TX, USDA urges residents to contact your veterinarian right away if you see any suspicious wounds, maggots, or infestations in your animals or herd.

If you see signs of maggot infestations in live or very recently dead wild animals, especially in areas near the U.S./Mexico border, please call 866-4USDA-WS (866-487-3297) to report it to your local USDA Wildlife Services office.

Dust off those boots for our dance this year!

We will be asking for bottled water to benefit the Claremore Veteran's Center this year. This is great community service for our members.

Same as last year, this will count as one meeting towards your three for county fair.

Youth Livestock Judging Clinic

We are once again hosting the Northeast District Livestock Judging Clinic on June 25, 2026, at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. This will be a great day of learning the basics of livestock judging, evaluating a few classes, and learning fundamentals of giving reasons. Here is the updated totals for pop tabs!

Remember all pop tabs for the county contest are due tomorrow, May 28th to the Extension Office for official weighing. The winner this year will have ice cream to their June meeting.

I will also be dropping off pop tabs soon to the Ronald McDonald House in Tulsa if members would like to go help with that.
