For 50 years, Leadership Cincinnati has brought together leaders committed to moving our region forward — and the story behind the St. Vincent de Paul Charitable Pharmacy is a powerful example of that impact in action.

What began as an idea championed by Leadership Cincinnati alumni became a reality through years of collaboration, advocacy, and community leadership. Since opening, the pharmacy has filled more than 1 million prescriptions at no cost for neighbors in need — helping thousands manage chronic illness, recover, and live healthier lives.

On May 14, St. Vincent de Paul will celebrate this incredible milestone at their Celebration of Service, honoring the Leadership Cincinnati classes and partners who helped make the pharmacy possible.

As we prepare to welcome the 50th class of Leadership Cincinnati, this moment is a reminder of what can happen when passionate people come together to create meaningful change.

Know someone ready to lead, connect, and make an impact? Applications for Leadership Cincinnati, Leadership Sprints, Breathe, and WE Lead close May 19. We hope you’ll join us.

As many of you know, this year we are recognizing the 50th anniversary of Leadership Cincinnati. Linked to that anniversary is another important community milestone that will be celebrated in just a few weeks: the opening of the St.

Just months after opening to the public, Elm Street Plaza invited community members and convention center visitors to deepen their engagement with public art through the installation of four new permanent sculptural works. Conceptualized and created by local artistic organizations AGAR and Black Art Speaks (BAS), along with local artists Jason Snell and Luke Lehenbauer, the new artworks further establish the plaza as a cultural destination in the heart of Downtown Cincinnati.

AGAR and Black Art Speaks were also part of a larger group of local arts organizations that convened beginning in 2024 to explore the role and expression of public art inside and outside the reimagined convention center. That collaboration resulted in 13 new interior installations, in addition to the four exterior works unveiled today: Coloratura by AGAR Studios; Freeforms by Luke Lehenbauer; True American Music by Jason Snell; and Funk Glasses by Black Art Speaks.

This May, 3CDC will present a free weekly Artist Talk series at Elm Street Plaza, featuring contributing artists who will discuss their artwork, inspirations, and creative process in depth. Learn more about the Artist Talk series here: https://elmstreetplazacincy.com/event/artist-talks/

You can feel it—festival season is back. ☀️
Sidewalks are buzzing, patios are full, and the energy across the region is undeniable. Last weekend, Asian Food Fest took over Court Street, celebrating incredible food, culture, and community—made possible by organizations like Asianati and the many partners behind the scenes.

And it doesn’t stop here… with more festivals right around the corner, there’s no shortage of ways to get out, explore, and support local.

So when you’re out and about, show some love to the small businesses, vendors, and teams who make it all happen. This is what makes our region special.
