175 years in business. Let that sink in.

Today, we were honored to celebrate an incredible milestone with The Glenny Glass Company as they marked 175 years of innovation, craftsmanship, and service with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at their Milford facility.

Founded in 1851, Glenny Glass has grown from horse-drawn glass deliveries across the Midwest to a state-of-the-art manufacturing operation serving customers throughout a five-state region. Through it all, the company has remained committed to the values that built its reputation: integrity, innovation, and exceptional customer service.

What makes this milestone even more remarkable is the legacy of family leadership. Since 1989, the Smith family has guided the company’s growth, and today, the next generation—twin brothers Braxton Smith II and Joseph Smith—are helping lead the business into its future. Their story is a powerful example of how strong family values and visionary leadership can sustain a company for generations.

Businesses come and go, but few achieve the longevity and impact of Glenny Glass. For nearly two decades, they have also been a valued member of the Clermont Chamber of Commerce, contributing to the strength and success of our business community.
