Boy Troop 145 is proud to be recognized as a unit that performs the most flag retirement ceremonies. It is a honorable duty to country. Troops and Pack 145 are the largest collectors of worn flags from community. Well done Scouts!

Looking for a summer adventure? Our new Teen Hiking Series is officially open for registration! 🥾✨
🗓️ 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬:
• 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟖: Cascade Hike; pre-register by June 5
• 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏𝟑: Dragon’s Tooth Hike; pre-register by July 10
• 𝐀𝐮𝐠. 𝟑: Tinker Cliffs; pre-register by July 31
🎒 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬:
Open to teens ages 13–17. Hikes cost $10 each. All trips depart from the Christiansburg Recreation Center at 10 a.m.. Don't forget to pack a lunch! 🥪

Big thanks to all the Scouts who came out to post flags this morning with the American Legion Post 59 and VFW Post 5311 Leonard E McCoy, honoring over 1,033 veterans buried in Sunset Cemetery, Town of Christiansburg, VA. Sammy’s Eagle project helped us locate over 130 additional veterans.

Regular practice of First Aid skills is way to be prepared to help all people at all times, especially emergencies! Troop Leaders were happy to play "victims" in multiple scenarios where Scouts practiced triaging, bandaging, splinting and even epi-pen administration.

Troop 145 Scouts showed up in great numbers and demonstrated wonderful Scout Spirit to help Pack 145 as well as welcome Arrow of Light Cubs into the Troop after bridging! Well done!
