Stop Online Puppy Mills

Stop Online Puppy Mills Founded August 2014. Stop Online Puppy Mills NFP is a 501(c)3 tax exempt non profit organization We educate new puppy buyers before they purchase.

Our digital media campaigns, search and retargeting advertisements and social media platforms interrupt new puppy buyers, educating them before they buy, so they can make better choices. The internet is a 24/7 unmonitored marketplace and online puppy sales are skyrocketing. Puppy mills are high volume dog breeders who sell puppies for profit. Any dog breeder can be a puppy mill. The innocent dogs

that are caged for breeding - the ones making all of the puppies, lives a life of suffering. Puppy buyers don’t think about the parent dogs that are forced to breed and make puppies over and over again. This is what our cause is really about - raising awareness about the breeding dogs. There are an estimated 10,000 puppy mills in the US producing a shocking estimate of 2.4 million puppies a year. The breeding dogs live a life in conditions that most people would consider horrific & inhumane. It is hard for consumers to associate the reality of what goes on through these high-volume breeders. You can make the difference. Make the right choice. Please - Make the difference.

These are the breeders that are licensed to sell and ship puppies online. This is what you don't see when you have a puppy shipped or delivered. These photos are from licensed kennels that are operating. The commercial breeding of dogs for their puppies is a horrible business model.

Commercial dog breeders are high volume dog breeders who are licensed to breed and sell puppies and they don't do it to loose money, they do it as a business to make money. That's is what most consider a puppy mill. These are the same breeders who sell and ship puppies online. There is no standard puppy mill. All puppy farms are set up differently.

Puppy advertisements are adorable and they are meant to catch your eye. Selling puppies is a big business! What you don't see when you have a puppy shipped or delivered matters! Don't support cruelty, if you can't meet the mother dog in person to see her mental and physical conditions and see where and how she and all of the breeders dogs live. Walk away!

Both of these "breeders are licensed as commercial dog breeders. You can see some breeders have been making bank selling puppies. Dogs are companion animals not production animals. These kind of breeders are the ones making puppies that are sold in pet stores and online, sold and shipped sight unseen. If they do let you pick the puppy up in person, they likely will not let you meet the mother dog or see where all of the dogs live. They use an excuse called biosecurity. We will explain that more in detail during Puppy Mill Awareness Month. September.
