Don’t miss your chance to join us for Cub Scout Day Camp: Nature Investigators in Oak Lawn on June 27! Registration closes June 22, so sign up soon to secure your spot for a full day of outdoor adventure, hands-on activities, and summertime fun.

Cub Scout Day Camp is a one-day experience packed with exciting programs where Scouts rotate through five interactive stations focused on nature, skills, teamwork, and exploration. Check-in runs from 8:30–9:00 AM, followed by an opening gathering at 9:00 AM. Scouts will rotate through three stations in the morning and two more after lunch before wrapping up with a closing gathering at 2:45 PM and dismissal by 3:00 PM.

For quicker check-in, please bring completed medical forms for everyone staying for the day.

Future Day Camp Dates:
August 1 – Schaumburg
August 8 – Park Ridge

2026 Fees:
• Scouts, siblings, and friends: $35
• Adults: Free

Scout families, get ready for a memorable night at the ballpark!

Join us on Friday, August 14 at 6:30 PM at Ozinga Field for a special Scout Night with the Windy City ThunderBolts. Your ticket includes a complimentary Bolts hat and Scout Night patch, the chance to work toward requirements for the Sports Merit Badge, and a postgame fireworks show! Scouts can also take part in a once-in-a-lifetime overnight camping experience right on the field, with breakfast provided the next morning.

Attention Eagle Scouts - Do you need money for college?

Every year the construction industry funds a $1,000 given to an Eagle Scout for each of their 4 years in college. The form is simple and due June 30. Only a few Scouts apply per year, so make sure to apply!!!

This scholarship is open to all Eagle Scouts from the Pathway to Adventure Council, Scouting America who are:
• Current, full-time secondary school 12th grader/senior or comparable level student enrolled in a public, private or parochial school located within the territorial boundaries of the Pathway to Adventure Council.
• Planning to pursue a degree at an accredited post-secondary institution, or an apprenticeship in a building trade.
• Anticipating graduation from high school in 2026.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 Pathway to Adventure Golf Classic at Itasca Country Club this Monday!

From the driving range to a fantastic day on the course, it was wonderful to see so many supporters, volunteers, and community partners come together in support of Scouting.

A special thank you goes out to all of our sponsors whose generosity helped make this event possible. Your support directly helps provide life-changing Scouting experiences for young people throughout our communities!

We are grateful to everyone who attended, sponsored, volunteered, and contributed to the success of this year's outing. We look forward to seeing you again next year!

Congratulations to Rivers Casino, winner of the TriStar District's John Slater Legacy Award in recognition of their generous support of the Pathway to Adventure Council!

The award was presented to Yetzi Navarrete, Community Engagement and Communications Supervisor at Rivers Casino, during a thank you event for local scouting supporters on May 21.

The Legacy Award is named in honor of John Slater, a lifelong leader and donor who generously helped many local non-profit organizations throughout his 100-year lifetime.

Thank you to Rivers Casino! Because of you, kids all over the Pathway to Adventure Council are reaping the benefits of Scouting!

What a fantastic day at the Plumbers Local 130 Merit Badge Clinic!

Scouts had the opportunity to get hands-on experience in the skilled trades, learn directly from industry professionals, and explore the important role plumbing plays in our everyday lives. Through interactive activities and real-world learning, participants expanded their knowledge while working toward advancement.

By the end of the day, Scouts completed the requirements to earn both the American Labor and Plumbing Merit Badges!

A special thank you to Plumbers Local 130 for hosting this unique experience and to all of the instructors, volunteers, and professionals who shared their time, expertise, and passion with our Scouts. Opportunities like these help prepare young people for future careers while introducing them to valuable skills they can carry with them for life.

Congratulations to all the Scouts who participated, and thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success!
