Get ready to power up for Popcorn Season!

Popcorn isn't just a fundraiser, it's one of the biggest ways Scouts fund their adventures all year long. The money your unit earns can help cover registration fees, summer camp, high-adventure treks, equipment, supplies, and more, making Scouting more accessible for every family.

To prepare for this fall's adventure and ensure smooth communication, all units planning on (or even considering) selling popcorn must register in the Pecatonica River Popcorn system.

Even if your unit hasn't selected a Kernel yet, please still register! You can always update contact information later, but early registration helps set everyone up for success and ensures your unit receives important updates, resources, and support throughout the sale.

How to register your unit to participate:
• Go to PRPopcorn.com
• Click “Scout Boss” from the “Account Login” drop down in the top right corner of the page
• Click on “Create Unit Profile”
• Enter your Council Key (118PTAC)
• Choose your District
• Choose your unit type
• Choose your unit number
• Enter a username for the account
• Enter a Password for the account
• Fill out the remaining profile info. The email used will receive all account notifications.
• Click “Submit”

Register today and get ready to catch every opportunity this popcorn season!

This past weekend, Scouts gathered for the Chicago Federation of Labor Merit Badge Clinic, hosted in partnership with Hire360. Throughout the day, participants explored new skills, connected with experienced instructors, and worked toward advancement by earning merit badges in American Labor, Journalism, Theater, and Woodwork.

Thank you to the Chicago Federation of Labor, Hire360, the instructors, volunteers, and all the Scouts who made this event a success. We hope everyone left with new knowledge, new experiences, and a deeper appreciation for the skilled trades and professions represented throughout the clinic!
