Friday March 20, 2026: The Park District has notified us that there is a planned power outage today Fri, Mar 20, 2026 starting at 8am. It's unclear how long the power will be out. The fieldhouse and bathrooms will be closed while the power is out.

Please help bring Clifford home for the holidays. Please keep an eye out if you are in Skinner Park or the neighborhood and share this post widely. Clifford has been lost since Nov 15 near the West Loop Target and has been spotted near Mary Barthelme Park.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Skinner Park Advisory Council. We are grateful to all our volunteers, sponsors and partners who make our work possible.

Thank you so much to everyone who donated to our food drive and to all the volunteers who helped with the food drive and food giveaway. Through the community's collective efforts, we were able to serve over 300 guests. In total, we distributed over 6,000+ cans of food and other non-perishable items, 1,500+ lbs of fresh vegetables and fruits.
