Our senior group never disappoints! Twice a month we get together to enjoy one another’s company while either learning about something new or listening to a few tunes🪉

This Wednesday, we had Joe McShane come to play for our Monthly Musical Gathering! If you missed it, don’t worry-we’ll have another on November 4th, 10AM, at the Irish American Heritage Center.

If you can’t wait that long, join us on October 21st (same time and place) for our first ‘Healthy Aging’ event with a healthcare expert from Swedish Hospital!

Support all of the Irish community members running in the Chicago Marathon this weekend!

Chicago-Galway Sister Cities International has organized some really great ways in which we can show our support...

On the 10th (the day before) there will be a reception to welcome runners who have come from Ireland to race. It will be held at The Dawson from 3PM - 5PM.

On the 11th (race day) there will be group cheering corner outside of the Galway Arms (Mile 9.7) from 8AM-1PM

Come out and show support for those you love, and if you're racing, we wish you the best of luck!🏅

We hope to see ye there!

Soccer Shenanigans was a smash! This Saturday, Irish Community Services and The Galway Committee hosted our first ever soccer tournament centered around mental wellness.

We got to watch as 6 counties gave it there all, all while taking in the beautiful Chicago Skyline Skyline Pitch CHI ⚽️

A huge thank you to everyone who came to play and support. And a well-deserved congratulations to the Dublin team for winning the one and only, Sham McGuire🏆
