I serve as President/Founder of 365 We Thrive NFP which empowers youth, ages 9-24, through equity by means of introducing resources and activities to enhance the social well-being of communities and by addressing social determinants of health, education and socio-economic outcomes. I am committed to being a 365WeThrive changemaker because I believe foundational guidance cultivates progressive pathways to community vitality, violence prevention, championed leadership, and socio-economic prosperity.... ultimately elevating communities. I am uniquely positioned to lead this work because I have a life-long commitment to community service, primarily with youth and young adults. With an educational background in Business Administration Organizational Management and 25 years in corporate leadership and higher-ed roles (Director of Admissions and Marketing, Associate Director, Academic Partnerships Admissions at USC, Community Outreach and 10 years as an entrepreneur) and decades of community service, this equips me with relative skills to positively impact diverse populations with varied experiences. Our well crafted holistic 4-module program fostering positive change in the community. It cultivates healthy habits, career and economic readiness, technology and entrepreneur skills which ideally positions youth to inject these positive outcomes into their own neighborhoods, fostering community vitality. Our office is located in the heart of Hyde Park and we are making community connections to form sustainable partnerships and look forward to future expansion. Each board member of 365WeThrive resided on the south side of Chicago as youth, living through adversities and disparities. Their ability to overcome challenges can be credited to individual changemakers who cared, and wanted to see them win.
