This weekend we determined we could not repair the neighborhood sign that was struck in an accident a few months ago at the corner of McAlpin and Caldwell so we took it down. We are in the process of repairing the sign (again) and others throughout the neighborhood. Thanks for your patience.

ON MEMORIAL DAY (Monday, May 25) @11 AM at the Niles Veterans Memorial Waterfall, VFW POST 3579 and Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 242 will gather to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. This year’s ceremony will feature a special performance of the National Anthem by eleven-year-old Sophia Hope, also known as on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.

ATTENTION LA FITNESS MEMBERS -- The LA Fitness located in Niles at 5701 W Touhy will permanently close Monday, May 18. The facility will become a Club Studio after renovations. If you are an current LA Fitness member you may use other LA Fitness facilities in the area. The closest ones to our North Edgebrook neighborhood are the Morton Grove LA Fitness located at 6791 Dempster or the Skokie LA Fitness (previously an X Sport) located at 3450 W Touhy.
