Felony Statement
Whether by design or by chance the felony epidemic is crippling our communities. Not only does a felony conviction impose prison time, it destroys families and effectively strips the individual of some of the most basic human rights, freedoms, and privileges. It also inhibits the person’s ability to provide for a family or become financially independent; thus helping to perpetuat

e the vicious cycle of crime and recidivism. Purpose
The purpose of The Felony Free Society is to bring awareness, education, preventative programs, and economic empowerment to those potentially and officially affected by felony convictions. The Felony Free Society believes it will reduce crime and recidivism rates making communities safer, stronger, produce higher number of entrants into higher educational institutions, and improve the individual’s social, economic, and political conditions.
