One Solution Global We envision a world where persistent global challenges are more clearly understood and quickly alleviated by a more profound understanding of the mind.

The biggest problem of our time is not the ones we are constantly talking about like war, terrorism, refugees, guns, education or criminal justice. It’s the one invisible problem that underlies every single global issue of our time: a misunderstanding of the human mind. The erroneous belief that our feelings of well-being and security are caused by external forces is at the root of all our current

problems. Solve this problem, and you solve all the others. Ignore this problem, and we will forever be trapped in an ineffective and chaotic cycle of plastering over the “cracks in the walls” of society. One Solution provides a set of principles that educates humanity about the mind such that our global challenges will be accurately understood and quickly alleviated. When that becomes the solid foundation on which humans stand, then and only then, will global security become a reality.

When you become a Rebel for Peace, not everyone will accept it support it. Humans want what is familiar and normal, and when you step out of whats normal, people unconsciously have a reaction. This is ok, and not a reason to stop. In fact, its a reason to keep going - and become a rebel FOR something, for a GOOD cause. When we say that our program is DIFFERENT, we mean it. We are not the traditional counsellor or mental health service(which is also needed) - we are peers that make mental health FUN for our youth.

We do not accept the status quo - in fact we are REBELLING against it. But not in away that creates more division - in a way that UNITES!

Thank you for everyone that came to our «Becoming a Rebel for Peace event» this week.

Hearing from panels of youth facilitors, principals and SEL specialist - all dedicated to the mental and Social Emotional Health of our communities left us hopeful and inspired.

One of the most impactful insights we can have is the fact that our minds are working FOR us, and is searching for peace and equilibrium.

You can observe this everytime a feeling, mood or experience have faded away on it’s own.

You know that 11PM whirlwind of anger or worry that turns into the 8AM «what was I even fussing about?» You didn’t do that. It just happened.

Even in the cases where it sticks longer, it always will and must shift.

This knowledge helps us take our experience with a grain of salt, help us get OK with what we are experienceing, and wait abit before we act.

The key is to not try to change our experience, but to observe that it does so by itself.

This awareness allieviates pressure for those of us who is constantly working on themselves or trying to fix our experience.

The classic and timeless example of a snow globe beautifully shows this, and is a metaphor we use equally both with 6 graders and with executives.
