🎤⛳ More Voices from Jacksonville!

As we prepare for the Ted Rhodes Junior Golf Tour – Atlanta this Saturday, we want to share more of the great conversations we had with our junior golfers during our Jacksonville tournament.

We had the opportunity to interview several young golfers from First Tee – North Florida and hear directly from them about golf, their experiences and what they enjoy about the game. 🏌🏽‍♀️🏌🏽‍♂️

Their voices are what the Ted Rhodes Junior Golf Tour is all about—giving young people opportunities to play, compete, grow and be heard.

Thank you again to First Tee – North Florida for partnering with us in Jacksonville! 💚

Now we’re getting ready for our next stop…

🎤⛳ Before They Teed Off in Jacksonville…

We caught up with some of our junior golfers before they hit the course at the Ted Rhodes Junior Golf Tour – Jacksonville!

I always enjoy talking with our young golfers and hearing about their excitement, their goals and what they love about the game. 💚

These are the moments that remind us why we do this—creating opportunities, building confidence and growing the game one junior golfer at a time.

A special thank you to First Tee – North Florida for partnering with us for our Jacksonville stop!

🎥 Take a listen to what our junior golfers had to say before the tournament.

⛳❤️FIRST TIME ON A GOLF COURSE!

One of the special moments from the 57th Annual Ted Rhodes Charity Golf Classic was having these two amazing young ladies volunteer with us—and believe it or not, it was their very first time ever being on a golf course! 🙌🏾

Both are students at Vanderbilt University and members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 🔺, and we are so grateful that they chose to spend their time volunteering with the Ted Rhodes Foundation.

🎥 Take a listen as they share a little about their experience!

For us, this is what Preserving the Legacy is all about. We honor the incredible history of golf pioneer Ted Rhodes while also introducing new people to the game, creating access and exposure, and opening doors for the next generation.

They came to volunteer. They experienced a golf course for the first time. And now, we’re looking forward to hosting a golf clinic with them during this school year! ⛳🏌🏾‍♀️

That’s how we grow the game—one introduction, one experience, and one opportunity at a time.

Thank you, ladies, for your energy, service, and willingness to experience something new. We can’t wait to get some golf clubs in your hands at the clinic! ❤️🤍⛳

💙💛⛳ Supporting HBCU Golf in Action!

One of the most meaningful moments of the 57th Annual Ted Rhodes Charity Golf Classic was having the Fisk University Golf Team join us in Nashville!

The Ted Rhodes Foundation was proud to sponsor members of the Fisk Golf Team to play in this year’s tournament and to present the program with a $2,500 donation to support its continued growth and student-athletes. 🏌🏾‍♀️🏌🏾‍♂️

This is what Preserving the Legacy looks like—honoring golf pioneer Ted Rhodes by creating opportunities for the next generation and investing directly in HBCU golf programs.

A very special thank you to Fisk University Athletic Director Valencia Jordan and the Fisk University Golf Coach Robert Moore for your continued partnership and commitment to your student-athletes. We value our relationship with Fisk and look forward to continuing to grow our partnership.

And to everyone who played, sponsored, donated, volunteered, or supported the Classic—this is the impact you helped make possible. 💚

Together, we’re not just preserving history. We’re investing in the future of the game. ⛳
