Cheerful Harvest of Peace to one and all!

Harvest of Peace is the time of year when we gather to examine and re-seed our relationship with the generosity and abundance which strengthens and sustains us throughout the year. It’s a time of encouragement and appreciation, of celebrating the spirit of genereosity and sharing the bounty of the season.

Things you can do to mark the Harvest of Peace:

Do a walking meditation and observe each moment as we shift, second by second, into the dark half of the year

Make a juniper offering and/or do the Lovingkindness practice (May All Beings Have Peace)

Open your senses to the tastes, smells, and sounds of autumn - think apples, woodsmoke, turning leaves, geese assembling for migration...

Gather friends and family for a celebratory harvest meal featuring seasonal ingredients (like g*i lan, cauliflower, daikon, rappini, roast garlic, bitter melon, snow peas, squash, amaranth, corn, walnuts, plums, grapes, apples, and pears)
