CASL is proud to be one of more than 330 providers nationwide participating in the Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) Model, an innovative Medicare program designed to make dementia care more coordinated, accessible, and supportive for individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, as well as their caregivers.

Through culturally and linguistically responsive care, CASL is helping Chinese American older adults and their families navigate the challenges of dementia with greater confidence and support.

Major Win in AANHPI Heritage Month. ✨

Chicago City Council has officially passed a historic AANHPI Data Equity Ordinance introduced by Nicole Lee for 11th Ward Alderman in partnership with CASL.

This legislation will require the Chicago Department of Public Health and Department of Family & Support Services to annually collect and publicly release disaggregated data across multiple Asian ethnic groups and Pacific Islander communities.

Why does this matter? Because aggregated data can hide critical disparities in healthcare access, language support, transportation, housing and education within AANHPI communities. Better data means better policy, better allocation of resources and greater equity for communities that have too often been overlooked.

This milestone reflects nearly a year of advocacy alongside community partners, residents and organizers across Chicago who worked tirelessly to make sure our communities are seen, heard and served.

Thank you to everyone who helped advance this important step toward data equity.

Happy Pride Month! 🌈

This month, we celebrate the strength, diversity, and contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals in our communities.

Pride reflects many of the values that guide our work each day. CASL strives to create a space where everyone can find belonging, support, overcome challenges together, drive positive change, and empower one another.

We were thrilled to welcome everyone in building a more inclusive CASL at our employee Pride Spirit Station today. We also look forward to partnering with National Q***r Asian Pacific Islander Alliance this month as we'll partake in a thoughtful discussion highlighting the importance of visibility and supporting the LGBTQ+ community particularly Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders.

Pride is a celebration of identity, community, and progress—and a reminder that when we uplift one another, we all grow stronger together!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Cultural Voices: Seeds of Impact 🌱

Together, we explored the power of entrepreneurship, mentorship, and community-building across generations in Chicago. From conversations on access, opportunity, and innovation to recognizing leaders who are shaping our future, the event was a reminder that lasting impact is built through resilience, intention, and investing in one another.

We are grateful to our speakers, honorees, scholarship recipients, sponsors, and attendees for making this event so meaningful. Thank you for being part of the conversation and helping us cultivate the seeds of tomorrow.

We loved celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month with all of you!

While May has come to a close, our commitment to uplifting AANHPI voices, stories, and communities continues every day of the year. Together, we honor the trailblazers who came before us, celebrate our current leaders, and empower the next generation.

Thank you for celebrating with us. When our communities are strong, we thrive together!
