Does balance really exist?

Career. Family. Community. Relationships. Health. Ambition. And somewhere in the middle of all of that… yourself.

On Tuesday, August 25, The Kindness Campaign is bringing together an incredible group of women for The Balancing Act: Navigating Career, Family, Community, and Self—an intimate and honest conversation about what it really means to manage the many roles women carry.

This will NOT be your typical panel discussion. Think more “The View” style—women around the table having a real conversation. We’ll talk about career and ambition, family and relationships, boundaries, mental and physical well-being, sacrifice, success, saying NO without guilt, prioritizing yourself, and whether this thing we call “balance” actually exists.

I’m excited to welcome Christa Hamilton as our moderator, along with our Featured Voices Gabrielle A. Jeannot, Valerie Calahan Taylor, Stacey Michelle, and KeShaun Harding NP

And here's your opportunity to join us at the table.

That's money you don't have to spend at the grocery store — and money that can stay in your household for rent, utilities, transportation, school expenses, or whatever your family needs.

And we mean it when we say this market is for the COMMUNITY:

At The Kindness Campaign, we talk a lot about healthy choices, nutritious foods and community health—but we also believe in balance. And when we get an opportunity to spoil our community a little, we do! 😊

A HUGE thank you to Tammy Oliver and Valerie Warnell, women business owners of the Schererville, Indiana Nothing Bundt Cakes location, for generously donating cakes and cupcakes for us to share with the community. 🎂🧁

These sweet treats are being distributed at the future site of K Fresh Foods, our social enterprise currently in development and coming soon! 👀

K Fresh Foods is being built to last for 100+ years. It was designed to keep overhead low to the savings can be passed to the customers (local community) and have a minimal carbon imprint (environmental justice).

K Fresh Foods will show corner stores and grocers how to operate in our community while providing healthy options that a single, minimum wage earner without government assistance can afford to shop for healthy, balanced groceries to prepare meals at home.

This July, The Kindness Campaign continued meeting our community where they are—providing healthy food, nutritious meals, and essential household supplies that support healthier families and more stable homes.

From Fresh Foods Markets and community pop-ups to senior buildings and shelters, every distribution represents more than a number. It represents a neighbor served, a household supported, and another step toward a stronger community.
