The Chicago South Side Film Festival The South Side Film Festival celebrates the South Side of Chicago on film! October 6th - 8th, 2017.

Our annual festival brings together film-goers and film-makers at venues on Chicago's South Side to view a diverse variety of films. The South Side Film Festival celebrates the South Side of Chicago as a center for filmmakers to showcase different perspectives and independent thought through their work.

Join us for African American Heritage Night, presented by Black McDonald’s Operators Association!

This special ticket offer includes a game ticket and one-of-a-kind custom designed cap by Malawian-born, Chicago-based artist Oscar Joyo

His genre of work can be described as Afrofuturism mixed with Afrosurrealism. Oscar pays homage to his Malawian heritage by use of fun shapes and patterns that breathe life into his paintings. His work is a love letter to his African heritage and the hope that there will be a better future for people of color.

The first 10,000 fans who enter the ballpark also will take home an Ice Cube Bobblehead!
