Rolfe Pancreatic Cancer Foundation

Rolfe Pancreatic Cancer Foundation Pancreatic cancer is the 4th leading cause of cancer related deaths in the United States.

Rolfe Pancreatic Cancer Foundation is dedicated to providing personal support to those affected by pancreatic cancer through tailored resources, connections and education, and funding for early detection research. Over 43,000 Americans are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer each year and sadly, only 4% will survive five years. Yet in 2010, the National Cancer Institute allocated only 2% of its funding to pancreatic cancer research.

💜 Introducing Ken Brown, one of our 2026 Rolfe Resilience Award Honorees.

Diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2013, Ken was fortunate to receive an early diagnosis and successful treatment. Since then, he has turned his experience into a mission to raise awareness, support others facing pancreatic cancer, and fund research that can give more people the chance he had.

Ken doesn’t just talk about resilience. He lives it. From hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro with his cancer surgeon to competing in sprint triathlons for the first time at age 74, Ken continues to inspire others and show that anything is possible.

We are honored to celebrate Ken’s advocacy, generosity, and unwavering commitment to the pancreatic cancer community.

🧬 More than 90% of pancreatic cancers have KRAS mutations, making KRAS one of the most common genetic drivers of the disease.

For years, KRAS was considered difficult to target. Now, researchers are developing new KRAS inhibitors, with promising tumor responses emerging in clinical trials.

So, what exactly is KRAS, and why does it matter for pancreatic cancer?

💬 Comment “KRAS” and we’ll send you a message with more information.

💜 Introducing our 2026 Progress Forward Gala Philanthropy Honoree: Marquette Bank

For years, Marquette Bank and its community have come together to honor the life and legacy of their beloved employee, Evelyn Schap, who passed away from pancreatic cancer. Each year, they host a walk around Evelyn’s birthday to raise awareness and funds in support of pancreatic cancer research and patient support through Rolfe.

This year, Rolfe was honored to participate in their walk and celebrate Evelyn’s incredible legacy alongside her family, friends, and colleagues. Hearing stories about Evelyn’s kindness, the memories she created, and sharing her famous triple chocolate cake was a beautiful reminder of the power of community and the lasting legacy one person can leave behind.

Partnerships like this are what move progress forward. We are deeply grateful for Marquette Bank’s continued dedication to raising awareness, supporting families affected by pancreatic cancer, and helping create a future with more hope.

Early detection can change everything. 💜

Pancreatic cancer is often called a "silent disease" because symptoms don't usually appear until it's advanced. That's why investing in early detection research is so important. Earlier diagnoses can lead to more treatment options, better outcomes, and more time for patients and their families.

At Rolfe, we're committed to funding innovative research that brings us closer to detecting pancreatic cancer sooner and saving more lives.
