🎒💙 South Chicago showed up! 💙🎒

What a day! A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to our annual Back to School & Wellness Fair and helped us kick off the school year the South Chicago way — together! ❤️

We loved seeing 91st & Brandon filled with families, neighbors, kids having fun, and so many organizations sharing resources with our community. From school supplies for our Kinder kiddos all the way through college students, to food, the bounce house, the amazing Jesse White Tumblers and more — there was a little something for everybody!

None of this happens without people who care about this neighborhood. 💙 Thank you to every volunteer, partner, organization, parent, and neighbor who gave their time, donated supplies, shared resources, or simply came out and enjoyed the day with us.

There’s something special about seeing our community come together and make sure our young people have what they need to start the school year strong.

We love our neighborhood. We love our young people. And we love seeing South Chicago show up for South Chicago. 🫶🏽

This event will provide an opportunity for community members, organizations, and stakeholders to come together in reflection, healing, and dialogue while highlighting the importance of working collectively to create safer and stronger communities.
