🎒💙 South Chicago showed up! 💙🎒

What a day! A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to our annual Back to School & Wellness Fair and helped us kick off the school year the South Chicago way — together! ❤️

We loved seeing 91st & Brandon filled with families, neighbors, kids having fun, and so many organizations sharing resources with our community. From school supplies for our Kinder kiddos all the way through college students, to food, the bounce house, the amazing Jesse White Tumblers and more — there was a little something for everybody!

None of this happens without people who care about this neighborhood. 💙 Thank you to every volunteer, partner, organization, parent, and neighbor who gave their time, donated supplies, shared resources, or simply came out and enjoyed the day with us.

There’s something special about seeing our community come together and make sure our young people have what they need to start the school year strong.

We love our neighborhood. We love our young people. And we love seeing South Chicago show up for South Chicago. 🫶🏽

This event will provide an opportunity for community members, organizations, and stakeholders to come together in reflection, healing, and dialogue while highlighting the importance of working collectively to create safer and stronger communities.

Are you concerned about the future of children and youth in our community? We invite you to be part of an important conversation focused on education, advocacy, and creating stronger opportunities for our young people.

Claretian Associates will be hosting Education Focus Group sessions designed to gather input from community members, parents, and partners on how we can collectively support and advocate for improved educational outcomes. Your voice and experience are essential in helping shape strategies that directly impact our children’s success.

We are offering two options for your convenience:

Session One: Tuesday, May 12, 2026, | 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Session Two: Tuesday, May 26, 2026 | 10:00 AM-12:00 PM
Participants will only need to attend one session. During the session, you will engage in meaningful discussion, share insights, and collaborate with others who are passionate about education in our community. Participants must agree to be recorded.

As a token of appreciation for your time and participation, all attendees will receive a gift card incentive, and lunch or dinner will be provided, depending on the session time.
