Zoe and her family visited Aurora Fire Station 13, and they saw that they didn't have a proper Safe Haven sign. Zoe gave her speech and gave them a sign. They hung it right away.

Does your fire station have a sign? If not, let us know! We will send them information on how to order one.

They DO have one? Let us know, and we will send them a certificate of appreciation.

Be sure to check out your fire and police stations. If you do not see a sign, how will a mother in crisis see one?

25 years ago, just days after the Safe Haven Law went into effect, Baby David was found dead in a bag in a dumpster behind a Rollins Road grocery store in Round Lake Beach on Aug. 26, 2001. Thanks to the Round Lake Beach Police Department, the birth mother has been found using DNA. THIS is why we still need to make sure EVERYone knows about the Safe Haven Law. Share this information-you might save a life.
