Beat the heat tomorrow with our concert at Nichols Hall in Evanston at 3pm! What better way to close out our 2024-25 Season than by voicing the virtuosic compositions of true prodigies, Mendelssohn and Enescu. As a part of Civitas’ outreach concerts, three students of Ensemble Member Yuan-Qing Yu held a wonderful performance at The Breakers this past week. These talented young violinists from Northwestern’s Bienen School of Music presented a beautiful display of string compositions, which perfectly sets the tone for our Season Finale!

Don’t miss Civitas Ensemble’s final concert of the season featuring two incredible string octets, both of which were written by composers in their teens.
