Latinas/os Buscando Refugio y Optimismo Cuando Hacen Arte (La BROCHA) ofrece dos tipos de programas gratuitos para personas de 60 años o más que son los talleres de arte y Al Café. Talleres de Arte
Los talleres son diseñados para ser divertidos y socialmente interactivos. Cada taller es dirigido por un artista que da instrucciones paso a paso. Se proporcionan todos los materiales de arte y un alm

En 2016, la señora Socorro Rocha (QEPD) y su hija participaron en un taller de arte dirigido por el pintor Robert Valadez. Juntos trabajaron en un cuadro de María Félix, la actriz favorita de la señora Socorro. Las dos se dieron cuenta de que pintar es divertido, socialmente interactivo y una actividad especial para personas que viven con Alzheimer, como la Sra. Socorro. About La BROCHA

Latinas/os Seeking Refuge and Optimism when doing Art
The Inspiration (La BROCHA) offers two types of free programs for people aged 60 and over: art workshops and Al Café events. Its programs have a special focus for people with dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. Art Workshops
Workshops are designed to be fun and socially interactive. Each workshop is led by an artist who provides step by step instructions. All art supplies and a healthy lunch are provided. Al Café
Al Café events are designed for people living with memory loss, their caregiver, and family to connect, socialize, and build a support community. Participants engage in various creative art activities. The Inspiration

In 2016, Mrs. Socorro Rocha (RIP) and her daughter participated in an art workshop led by painter Robert Valadez. Together they worked on a painting of María Félix, Mrs. Socorro's favorite actress. The two realized that painting was fun, socially interactive, and special activity for a person living with Alzheimer's, like Ms.
