Today marks the 91st anniversary of Logan’s founding—a milestone that reminds us just how far our University has come.

On this day in 1935, seven pioneering students gathered for their very first classes, united by a shared goal: to become chiropractors and advance a profession still in its early years. Their commitment laid the foundation for what Logan would grow to be—an institution dedicated to excellence in chiropractic and health sciences education.

We’re proud to honor that legacy with the opening of an on‑campus Museum in Annex 3, a space designed to preserve and celebrate Logan’s history. Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8, the Museum will welcome visitors Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM.

The Museum showcases an extraordinary collection of artifacts, including some of the first adjusting tables, historic awards, photographs, books and other pieces that tell the story of chiropractic and Logan University. Professor Patrick Montgomery, DC, MS, DPhCS, LCP, FASA, FICC, has been instrumental in gathering and preserving these items, ensuring that our past remains accessible and meaningful to future generations.

Graceland University and Logan University have established a new 3+3 articulation agreement that creates an accelerated pathway for Allied Health students pursuing a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree.

Designed for students on Graceland’s pre‑chiropractic track, the pathway allows eligible students to complete three years of undergraduate coursework at Graceland before transferring to Logan’s DC program. After their first year at Logan, designated coursework will transfer back to Graceland, enabling students to earn their Bachelor of Science in Allied Health while continuing seamlessly into the remaining two years of the DC program.

Meet Dr. Chris Fahs, professor in Logan University’s Master of Science in Sports Science & Rehabilitation program! 💪

From exercise science research to mentoring student researchers, Dr. Fahs brings his passion for evidence-based practice and real-world application into the classroom.

He was also recently invited to speak at the World Federation of Chiropractic’s Global Education Conference this October where he will be addressing, “Practical Chiropractic Applications of Functional Testing: Bodyweight Squat as a Movement Screen for Patients. His presentation will guide attendees through a structured process for filming, evaluating, and correcting movement faults observed during a bodyweight squat assessment.

Attention Logan University Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) students!

The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) is continuing its commitment to academic excellence by offering $10,000 in student scholarships this year. These awards are designed to recognize talented chiropractic students and support their educational goals as they prepare for the next steps in their professional journey.

NBCE will award four scholarships of $2,500 each, based on submissions to the annual Scholarship Essay Competition. This is an excellent opportunity for DC students to showcase their passion for chiropractic, reflect on their academic experiences, and earn financial support toward their education.
