A few more ways to honor your loved one on Halloween if this day is a little tough on your family. Just like with every other holiday, memories of past Halloweens can be bittersweet, it that might help to remember all those days with love.

All of our programs are FREE and support grieving children and families across CT.

The Family Program is for children who have experienced the death of a parent, direct caregiver, or sibling. It runs from September to June.
All of our locations:
West Hartford, Stonington, New Haven, Meriden, Guilford and our Teen and Caregiver Virtual programs currently have openings in the Fall!

While Halloween is usually a time of fun for many, however for children who have had a loved one die, it can also be a time of mixed emotions.
Even though they may be excited about the candy and costumes; they might feel a sense of loss and sadness, missing a loved one who isn't there to share in the fun.
Let's offer them our support and understanding, let them know that it's okay to feel sad or miss someone special, even on Halloween.
Here are some activities that might help to remember with love.

Be a Champion of Hope for Grieving Children!
November 19th Children's Grief Awareness Day but we are showing support the whole month of November!
Email us for your sticker!

Join The Cove Center for Grieving Children in our social media awareness campaign to get the word out about the importance of recognizing childhood grief.

💙 Email [email protected] to receive a free sticker in honor of this important month. Simply provide your name, address, and the number of stickers you are requesting to receive a sticker like the one on the graphic!
