August and September have been extremely busy for our Neighbors in Need Team! Mike and Paul have done a phenomenal job scheduling a roof replacement, a furnace replacement, some home cleanup work on Cornwall, and assistant to a Cheshire Neighbor in need of some plumbing repairs! Thanks so very, very much Paul and Mike for all you do. If anyone knows of a Neighbor in Need in the town of Cheshire and that qualifies for financial assistance or would like to donate to this great cause, please message us on Facebook or email Sue at [email protected].

Home Improvement Project for Handicap Bathroom is close to completion. Some final painting and trim work should finalize the effort. Thanks to all of our Volunteers, Donors and to Paul Hackett for helping to organize this project.!! Meeting invite and notes from fundraiser to be emailed by end of week!

Project Update for those who came to our fundraiser-The handicap bathroom is just about completed and ready for painting. Doors have been widened and the ramps have made life much easier for our family in need. Thanks again for supporting CIH! Cheshire Interfaith Housing Team would like to thank two great bands (Bird'n'Boys and Tropical Hot Dog Band) for rocking the house at the Waverly and Peter for his great bartending this past Friday for our CIH Fundraiser. Additional thanks goes out to all our basket donors, and other items donated by Bagelicious, Hines Hardware, Ar, Chris and Nanc. This will help us towards our goal of raising funds to complete our work for a handicap bathroom, widening of doorways, handicap ramps and hoyer lift purchase for a family in town with a special needs child.

Come to the Waverly, Friday, Feb 6th, 7-12 and support Cheshire Interfaith Housing's New Neighbors in Need Project. Work is underway to build a handicap bathroom, widen doorways and purchase a hoyer lift for a special needs adopted child. Your support of this event will allow us to make this dream come true for this family. Two great bands, Appetizers, Raffles, Peter from the VIC house serving at the Cash Bar, along with Coffee and Dessert!!.

Neighbors in Need Project and Fund Raiser Planning Meeting tonight, Wed,Jan 14th at Temple Beth David at 7:30pm. We are planning a Dance and Music fest at the Waverly on Friday, Feb 6th from 7-12:30PM with two great bands -Bird'N Boys and Tropical Hot Dog Band on stage, Raffles, Prizes, Food and Fun. CIH is funding a special needs adopted child. Your support of this event will help make the house meet the space and equipment needs of this project. $25 per person. Tickets available at the door or post this site for more information. Donations can be made to CIH, PO BOX 3, Cheshire, CT 06410
