ABNB Community Foundation ABNB Federal Credit Union has a long and storied history of charitable giving and community involvement dating back to the credit union’s founding in 1960.

With a commitment to making a difference in the communities we serve, the ABNB Community Foundation was launched in 2021 to support causes and charities benefiting children and families in our region. ABNB Mission Statement:
To measurably improve the lives of families and children in the communities that we serve. ABNB Foundation Vision Statement:
To come along side non-profit organizations who de

liver vital community services and are located in communities served by ABNB Federal Credit Union. The focus is on improving the lives of families and children by providing financial and/or volunteer support. Structure of the Foundation:
As a charitable arm of ABNB Federal Credit Union, the ABNB Community Foundation is a separate and distinct non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Likewise, it has a separate and distinct Board of Directors comprised of ABNB Federal Credit Union Volunteers along with members of our senior management team who oversee the day to day operation of the Foundation. Please note that The Foundation’s financial support is explicitly intended to be in addition to any charitable giving funds provided annually by ABNB Federal Credit Union.

Wow, what an incredible experience our team had this morning!

Horizons Hampton Roads Inc. invited us to cheer on students for Opening Day at Norfolk Collegiate, and the energy was unforgettable. Smiling, shy, and ecstatic faces filled the building as students from kindergarten to eighth grade walked in, greeted with high fives, bubbles, and enthusiastic cheers. Moments like these remind us why community engagement matters.

Through this partnership, our grant is impacting 430 students by supporting their Summer Enrichment Program, a five-week initiative for low-income students focused on academic enrichment with licensed teachers, life-saving swim lessons, and opportunities in arts and music.

A big thank you to Praveen and the entire team at Horizons Hampton Roads, Inc. for the warm welcome and inspiring tour!

The Armed Services YMCA Hampton Roads was a 2025 grant recipient, and we’re truly inspired by the work they do. Our military families make up a large part of our community, and the ASYMCA continues to show up in meaningful ways to support them and their loved ones.

Yesterday, we helped clean their buses to make sure they were in tip-top shape for summer camp! Thank you for having us and for keeping us cool with ice pops in the summer heat!
