Today marks the 5th anniversary of the Abbey Gate terrorist attack–the deadliest attack on Americans in Afghanistan since 2011. The catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan directly caused the deaths of these 13 brave service members.

We will never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice. 🇺🇸 ⭐

We will always HONOR their selfless Sacrifice and REMEMBER them individually by Name.

Pictured here is George Lutz, the founder of Honor and Remember and the creator of the 2018 America's Run For The Fallen, holds a remembrance flag during the closing ceremony in section 60.
