Tiny Paws Rescue is a volunteer foster-based, small-breed dog rescue dedicated to rescue and placement of small dogs into loving, permanent homes throughout Phila, Bucks, Chester, Montgomery & Delaware counties in PA as well as Central & Southern NJ

Countless small dogs in the region are left homeless every year through no fault of their own. Many are dumped at ACCT Philly (Animal Care and Control Team of Philadelphia) and other public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to overpopulation. Others are surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. Tiny Paws Rescue is committed to helping the neediest, as well as the readily adoptable, among our area’s most vulnerable creatures. Dogs in our care receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, including spay or neuter, and are placed in nurturing foster homes while they await adoption and placement in the loving, responsible, forever homes they deserve. Tiny Paws Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue run entirely by dedicated volunteers and does not receive any public funding. We rely entirely on fundraising support and donations from private individuals and local companies/organizations who believe in our mission.

First batch are being mailed week of 10/12/26, so get yours ASAP!!

This year’s Tiny Paws Calendar features some of our Adopted TINYS through the years and a few siblings added in. Each month has adorable TINYS to keep you smiling and feeling the TINYS love. Let’s start out 2027 with some cute, adorable, fun loving TINYS.


Every Purchase will go toward the Tiny Paws Vet Fund, so we can continue to care for our TINYS, especially many with major medical needs, saving many from being left in pain along with basic medical needs for them to be ready to find their adopted families.

PLEASE HELP US WELCOME SHRIMP & RANDII TO TINY PAWS!

Shrimp and Randii both came to ACCT Philly as strays and weren’t doing well in their kennel, since as many dogs that come to ACCT are scared and unsure of what is going on. Shelters can be loud and scary to many of the dogs. Sadly, some get labeled as having some issues which is understandable.

ACCT Philly being the only Open Intake Shelter in Philly takes all animals. Stray, Injured, Abandoned, Surrendered by their Owners for various reasons, some for medical or behavioral issues being informed they could end up being euthanized (which would be with a stranger being there when it happened instead of a long time loved family member).

Luckily at ACCT there are many volunteers who help to get these dogs out of their kennels and share info with ACCT to put in notes that get share with interested rescues. To the delight of one special volunteer, they found out they were the sweetest dogs, easy to leash and get out of their kennels. It can take time and patience and the ACCT volunteers are Angels to these dogs.

Our Special Angel ACCT Volunteer told us:

Shrimp is Illegally cute, super easy to handle, rolled over on her back for belly rubs. Happy to sit in my lap and look around. Oh, and she did a p*eing handstand which was very impressive.

Randii is Super cute, easy to remove from kennel, easy to leash, enjoyed lap time and getting pets.

Thankfully, Tiny Paws was able to find a foster for Shrimp and Randii, since without a foster we can’t help dogs, especially from ACCT who sometimes end up with Kennel Cough or a URI so we need to quarantine them in the foster home for usually 10-14 days if other dogs are in the fosters home.

We are always in need of more fosters so if you are in our area and have been considering fostering dogs under 20lbs please submit an application at https://www.tprescue.org/foster

Shrimp is thought to be around 1yo and is a tad under 8lbs. Her foster picked her up yesterday and says she is very sweet. She didn’t want to be in her pen and preferred her foster mom’s lap. She is interested in everything and everyone around her. We expect her full personality will start shining through as she learns to feel safe and secure in preparation for her furever home.

Randii is thought to be around 5yo and is a tad under 9lbs. His foster picked him up yesterday and says he is sweet, mostly quiet so far. He likes playing with toys, enjoys bacon treats, a good eater and seems potty trained. He was curious to meet their cats. He still needs to be neutered which will happen once he has some time to settle in and decompress.

Shrimp and Randii are safe, loved, and ready for their next chapter.

Shelby’s a 3yo 7lb Long hair chi. She’s dog and kid 12+ friendly. She’s housebroken when kept on a schedule and p*e pad trained. She’s good in a secure fenced in yard and/or going on harness leashed walks. She likes toys, other dogs her size or smaller and her people once she warms up to cuddle with. She’s sweet, active and playful.

Shelby’s foster requires a home where people with give her time to warm up then tons of love and attention along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.

Shelby as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first.

Shelby’s spayed, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently in Bensalem, PA. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org

ADOPT STAR!!

Star’s a2yo 18lb Poodle mix. She’s dog (her size or larger) and kid friendly. She is house and crate trained. She’s good in a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harness leashed walks. She loves toys, people especially to cuddle with. She has the best cheesy smile. She is high energy but is limited to ½ mile since she came to us with a back injury.

Star’s foster requires an active home, people who will be aware and attentive of her back legs having some weakness along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.

Star came to Tiny Paws with what we think was a slipped disc. She has finished all her water therapy and her vet feels she is doing great, but needs to keep an eye on her not reinjuring her back. She does have weakness in her back legs but that may always be the case. She’s spayed, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently in Maple Shade, NJ.
