“I like playing soccer because it’s fun, [and] my friends talked about playing OGA and I wanted to play with the and now I love it! Soccer makes me feel supported and have more friends. I really like playing defense and making sure that people don’t score. I really like my coaches because they make me feel supported!”

This is Lilly’s first season with OGA. She has played soccer her whole life and enjoys getting to help kids experience the joy she did growing up playing. She loves getting to watch both teams scrimmage each other on Saturdays!

Congratulations to our Coach of the Week, Rebecca Devasher!

Rebecca has been coaching at OGA for three years. She says “Coaching to me is about the bonds and relationships that I’ve been able to form with the kids and the impact it has on them. One of my girls from a few seasons ago made me a ‘smile’ bracelet that I haven’t taken off since. It’s a simple reminder of exactly why I do this.”
