Treatment and appointments mean a lot of missed school days for kids impacted by cancer, and those gaps add up. Beth Baker, our STEAM Curriculum Coordinator and a licensed teacher, turns state standards into hands-on experiments that help them catch up (and have a blast doing it).

Why does a pediatric cancer organization talk so much about cars? 🏁

It all started at a racetrack. After losing Hatch, the racing community rallied around Hatch’s parents, and they saw what cars could offer other childhood cancer families like them. Today, that idea lives on in the nation’s only Industrial Arts Therapy program and in the many motorsports partners who help us support families nationwide.

Fall Break Camp was a HOME RUN! ⚾️

These campers explored the science of baseball, created DIY concession treats, and even practiced their throwing skills.

AHF camps are designed for kids impacted by cancer and their siblings to explore new skills and overcome challenges alongside a community that “gets it.” We’re so proud of their hard work! 👏
