Where they at tho?

1000 topspin backhand drops. Here’s 3 things that made me more consistent.

đź’ĄWeight transfer forward. Being completely static while hitting is just as bad as moving your feet while hitting. Make sure the movement is a weight shift which comes from the knees.

đź’ĄTip up. Paddle tip stays above the wrist through contact. Drop it and it adds a little extra kick that kills your calibration. Keeping the tip up eliminates a variable that adds power.

đź’ĄFollow through to the same place every time. Same finish, every rep. If the finish is wandering, the contact point was already wandering before it.

💥Bonus: a clear start and a clear finish (A to B) makes ANY shot more consistent. Technique is slightly different for every player, but the important thing is that it’s an efficient path you can replicate over and over.

The Dinkademics Pro Camp just happened. 🏓

Day 1 was PRACTICE.
Five hours on the court covering what actually moves the needle — pattern recognition, shot inventory, getting to the kitchen, and what to do once you’re there. These are the skills and habits that develop over time. The work never really finishes.

Day 2 was COMPETE.
We drilled, warmed up to get loose, got our energy up, then the MLP Championship went live. Each pro coach was assigned a team — and the teams duked it out to see which coach and team would take the championship.

The champions walked away with $150 and a championship ring. Then the whole group closed it out with dinner at Culinary Dropout.

Coaches: Pieri Imparato · Eric Roddy · Liz Truluck · Wynn Johnson

If you’ve been thinking about it — we’re doing it again. Stay locked in. 👀

3 right side mistakes that cost you points 🚨

đź’Ą When d**king, keep your preparation inside your leg to consistently control the size of the d**k and reduce pop ups.

💥Make sure after wide d**ks, the hands and feet recover FAST. If you’re behind the tempo of the game because of slow recovery in the hands and feet it doesn’t matter how good your shots are.

Same format as the other captions in this project.
Right side lob . Get player’s off the kitchen line with a lob FROM THE RIGHT SIDE.

💥Emphasis on from the right side. For 2 big reasons. 1. It’s best to go cross court(the greatest distance- more room to miss). 2. If it is hit, it’s hit by the “backhand overhead”(weak/ inconsistent shot for almost all players.

💥Once they’ve run back to retrieve the lob, you’re in control. Keep the pressure on.

💥 Chris Patrick “the best time to hit a lob is never. Use sparingly and don’t be “that person” all the time.

You left side demons better have this forehand arsenal locked down!! You can’t finish points and stay in the fast game, your left side dominance won’t last for long.

💥 SIZING- probably the most important part of the technique. If it’s too big it doesn’t matter how pretty it is.

đź’Ą FEET STILL - if your foundation is set, your hands will naturally hit heavier balls.

đź’ĄTARGETS - if you sling counters, the same spot every time your opponents are gonna accidentally be better than you. Mixed up the spots and watch your opponent start missing left and right.

You need options in your bag that keep pressure on your opponents before they reach the kitchen.

💥Find the feet win the point has historically been the end all be all for “keeping players back”. It’s not enough anymore…

đź’ĄThe resets are getting good. The kitchen arrivals are happening more often.

đź’Ą Force your opponent into a firefight by giving them a tasty ball through transition that you are prepared for.

Slow hands aren’t a reflex problem — they’re a grip problem.

đź’Ą Every grip switch costs a full beat. In a hand battle, that beat is a lost point.

đź’Ą One grip (continental) covers both wings. No re-adjustment mid-exchange.

💥 Best part about it, is if you accidentally don’t choose the wrong shot, you’re still in the right grip and can switch quick.
