Old Town Cornelius - OTC ✨ Building a vibrant, connected, and creative downtown in Cornelius, NC through events, public art, placemaking, and community partnerships.

The Old Town Cornelius (OTC) area is becoming a hub for a vibrant and flourishing arts scene just outside of Charlotte, NC. It is a destination for culture of all kinds: from boutique stores and bottle shops, to farm-to-fork restaurants, popular local breweries, live music venues, area history and outdoor greenways & parks. The Old Town Cornelius (OTC) Inc organization is now a 501c3. OTC members live and work in Cornelius. They plan to develop programs and activities to further enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors. One function is hosting Community Forum Meetings open to residents and businesses to informally discuss important issues with representatives of the Town of Cornelius. Other OTC areas of interest for upcoming programs and projects will be arts and culture including LKN Creatives, history, healthy lifestyle, OTC kids amd collaborations with other businesses and non-profits. 2nd Saturdays is just getting started! ✨

Our official launch in September was such a great success, and we loved seeing so many people out and about enjoying Old Town Cornelius, supporting local businesses and making a day of it.

For October, we’re taking 2nd Saturdays back to the lab 🧪 — taking the month off to make a few tweaks, build on what worked and get ready for what’s next.

But there’s still plenty happening this 2nd Saturday! 🍂🍻 Head over to Laketoberfest at Bailey Road Park from 3–8 PM for an afternoon of fall fun, live music, food, b**r and more.

We’ll be back in November and can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on. Stay tuned!

Headed to Tawba Walk this weekend? Here’s your parking cheat sheet so you can spend less time circling and more time enjoying the festival!

🟩 Public parking areas are marked in GREEN on the map
🟧 Event grounds are marked in ORANGE
🟥 Please DO NOT park in the Food Lion or Walgreens lots, or in the Mill Construction area
♿ Accessible parking is available at the Cornelius Police Department

Parking is available throughout the surrounding Old Town Cornelius area, so arrive early, follow posted signage and be prepared for a short walk to the event grounds.

🚐 OTC COMMUNITY SHUTTLE: NIGHT OUT IN OLD TOWN 🍻🛍️

Join us Thursday, September 24 from 6–9 PM for another FREE OTC Community Shuttle Night — an easy way to explore Old Town Cornelius, support local businesses and make a whole night of it.

We’re kicking things off at Nina’s Boutique with a toast, a little shopping and time to connect before hopping aboard.

From there, the shuttle will run continuous loops throughout the evening connecting:
