🚨 The newly released 2026 State Human Trafficking Report confirms what many of us in the Charlotte Metro region already know: human trafficking is not a distant issue — it is happening in our communities, neighborhoods, schools, hotels, and online spaces every day.
The report highlights the growing need for:
✔️ Stronger prevention efforts
✔️ Earlier identification of vulnerable youth
✔️ Survivor-centered services
✔️ Better coordination between schools, nonprofits, law enforcement, healthcare, and community partners
Here in Charlotte and surrounding communities, we continue to see the urgent need for education, intervention, and long-term survivor support for youth impacted by exploitation and trafficking.
At Present Age not only do we remain committed to these efforts, but we are actively proposing solutions for:
🟣 Prevention education in schools and communities
🟣 Early intervention and advocacy
🟣 Survivor support and restoration
🟣 Collaborative partnerships across the Charlotte Metro region
Awareness matters.
Prevention matters.
Community response matters.
Because every child deserves safety, dignity, and hope.
