On its way to a baby boy today. đź’™

We see it time and time again. We can go days without a single request, and then there are days when multiple care packages are being prepared and heading out the door.

On days like these, we simply ask for a few extra prayers for the situations unfolding, for the children experiencing so much change, for the caregivers stepping in, and for everyone working behind the scenes to help.

And we’re reminded once again just how incredible our God is. Through Him, and through the generosity of wonderful supporters like you, when the call comes, we are able to answer. 🙏

Three children. Three moments of transition. Three bags packed with love. đź’™

Today, care packages were delivered to two young boys, and another is packed and ready to head out first thing tomorrow morning to a young lady.

We never know when the next request will come or who it will be for. What we do know is that when the call comes, Abundantly More is ready.

Each bag is thoughtfully packed for that individual child with necessities, comfort items and a few things we hope bring a smile during an uncertain time.

We’re so thankful for every person who donates, shops our wish list, shares our needs, or supports this mission. You help make every one of these deliveries possible.

We went a few days without any requests, and today we have four.

We never know what each day will bring or when the next call will come. What we do know is that when it does, we’re thankful to be here—ready to pack each bag with care and help fulfill the need.

Several care packages, packed with intention, comfort, and love, are heading out today to children facing a season of change and uncertainty.

Each bag is different because each child is different—but every one carries the same message:

In July, Abundantly More served 33 children in foster and kinship care, including 8 children in kinship care. In August, another 18 children needed us.

That’s 51 children in just two months who experienced transition, uncertainty and change—and 51 opportunities for us to provide a little comfort, dignity and hope. 💛

Every bag is thoughtfully packed for one specific child, and every item inside is made possible because someone chose to give, donate, shop, share or support.

Real children. Real needs. Real impact.
And we are incredibly grateful to be able to keep showing up. đź’™

Two deliveries went out yesterday. đź’™

While many of us were enjoying our weekend, these children were facing a time of unknowns, change, and transition.

On this Sunday, we pray for the children, their families, the foster and kinship families opening their homes, the social workers walking alongside them, and every person involved in these difficult moments.

May God bring comfort in the uncertainty, peace in the transition, and the reminder that each child is seen, loved, and never alone. 🙏

🙏 A Prayer for September 11th

Heavenly Father,
Today we remember.

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, the first responders who ran toward danger, and all who carried the weight of that day long after it ended.

Lord, comfort those whose hearts still ache. Strengthen those who continue to serve and protect us. Watch over our nation and help us never forget the courage, sacrifice, compassion, and unity that rose from such unimaginable tragedy.

May we remember that even in our darkest moments, You are near. Help us choose love over hate, unity over division, and faith over fear.

God, bless America, protect her people, and draw us closer to You and to one another.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

While many of us were getting off work, heading to dinner, cooking for our families, sitting at our kids’ practices, attending an evening meeting, or simply going home to unwind… someone else’s evening looked very different.

For some children, it means heartbreak, uncertainty and unexpected change. đź’™

These bags were packed last night with love, care and intention, and today they’ll be delivered to children who need them.

We may not be able to change the circumstances that brought them to this moment, but through Abundantly More, we can make sure they don’t walk into it empty-handed and remind them that they are seen, cared for and loved. 💛
