Representatives from South Carolina Safe Babies Court (SBC) recently attended the national Safe Babies Court Cross Sites Conference in Boston, hosted by Zero to Three.

Throughout the conference, South Carolina’s team connected with SBC sites from across the country, shared ideas and best practices, and participated in learning sessions focused on strengthening support for infants, young children, and families.

Topics included expanding infant and early childhood mental health services within child welfare, increasing meaningful family time, and building strong statewide networks of support to help prevent child welfare involvement.

South Carolina was proudly represented by SBC judges, caseworkers, legal partners, and members of the SC Safe Babies Court State Advisory Board.

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and bring new ideas back to strengthen our work with families across our state.

We are so excited to announce that we are hosting a Circle of Security (COS) Facilitator Training in October!

If you're looking for a way to make an deeper impact with the families you serve, this is your chance to become a facilitator of an incredible parenting program.

The COS Parenting Program helps caregivers understand children’s emotional needs and behavior through the lens of secure attachment.

The model provides practical tools and reflective strategies that strengthen caregiver-child relationships and support healthy social-emotional development.
