🚨 Every escape tells a story. Some begin with help. Others begin with hurdles.
Right now, Control Alt Delete is actively working on an emergency domestic violence escape after another agency provided guidance that unfortunately created additional barriers to safety. When Survivors are facing life-threatening situations, every minute matters, and inaccurate information or missteps can delay an escape when time is critical.
Thankfully, a dedicated law enforcement victim advocate recognized the urgency of the situation and submitted a referral to Control Alt Delete. Because of that referral, we are now working to help this Survivor and her children reach safety. 💜
This is why our referral-based model is so important. Our trusted network of referring agencies, law enforcement partners, victim advocates, shelters, and crisis response professionals helps ensure Survivors receive the right assistance, safe assistance at the right time.
Escaping domestic violence is difficult enough. Survivors should not have to navigate confusion, misinformation, or unnecessary obstacles while trying to save their lives.
