Today, I formally submitted documented concerns regarding federal HIV funding, oversight, and administration to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG) for independent federal review.
I am not making a public determination that any individual or organization has committed fraud or other unlawful conduct. The supporting records have been provided to the appropriate federal oversight authority so that those determinations can be made independently and based on evidence.
My purpose remains accountability, transparency, protection of healthcare access, and ensuring that federally funded HIV programs and resources serve the communities for which they are intended. I will not litigate the underlying evidence on social media while the matter is available for federal review.
