I’m honored to share that I have been named a finalist for the U.S. 250th Anniversary CFB Award, which will be presented by AmPac Business Capital at the 18th Annual Connecting Faith & Business Conference.

This award recognizes leaders whose work reflects ethical leadership, service to others, civic engagement, and lasting community impact.

I'm grateful to be recognized for my work with Bee Hiv+ Foundation as an advocate, educator, and public speaker. I use my lived experience to challenge stigma and promote testing and prevention, and to inspire others to rise above adversity with hope.

September, I’m coming in unapologetically me. ✨🍂

No shrinking. No performing. No changing myself just to make other people more comfortable.

I’m stepping into this month with faith, gratitude, purpose, and a whole lot of courage for whatever comes next. I’ve learned that every season doesn’t require a new version of me. Sometimes it simply requires me to trust the woman I’ve already fought so hard to become.

September is about protecting my peace, following what feels aligned, saying yes to the opportunities meant for me, and leaving behind anything that requires me to abandon myself just to belong.

I don’t need everyone to understand me.
I don’t need everyone to choose me.
I don’t need everyone to like me.

The right people will love the real me. ❤️

So here’s to jumping into September with both feet — imperfect, hopeful, grateful, a little fearless, and completely UNASHAMED.

New month. New opportunities. Same authentic me. 🐝✨

I just finished recording a podcast with Katrina Harvin and my heart is just full. 🥹💗

God really does have a way of putting people in your path at exactly the right time.

That is one of the things I love most about this journey. I get to meet people from all over, people with completely different stories, backgrounds, experiences, everything… and somehow every once in a while you meet someone and it just clicks. No forcing it. No trying too hard. You just connect.

That is how today felt.

Katrina is such a beautiful soul and I truly admire the way she shows up in the world. The work she does, the way she gives back, the way she pours into people… it is just beautiful to witness.

I left that conversation feeling grateful. Grateful for the connection. Grateful for the timing. Grateful that God keeps reminding me that this journey is so much bigger than I ever could have planned for myself.

Some days I really do sit back and think… wow. Look what God is doing.

I have no idea what tomorrow is going to bring, but I can honestly say I am excited to find out. 💕✨
