The Chandler Compadres is a non-profit charitable organization that has spent a quarter century helping build stronger families in the East Valley.

The group has donated more than $21 million to Valley youth charities.

Meet Andy Strand, Chief Lending Officer for Western State Bank in Chandler and a proud member of the Chandler Compadres.

For Andy, being a Compadre has been an extremely gratifying experience. It is an opportunity to serve alongside people who live and work in the community, support local beneficiaries, and share a commitment to helping children in need. It has also led to some of his closest friendships in the Chandler community.

The Compadres may host events and bring people together, but Andy is quick to recognize where the real work happens: with the beneficiary organizations that serve kids directly every day. More than 98% of the funds raised go to those local partners, helping meet the needs of underprivileged children throughout the East Valley.

Thank you, Andy, for your leadership, your commitment to the community, and the heart you bring to the Chandler Compadres mission.

Meet “Maya,” a middle-school student in the East Valley. After school, she needs a place where she can feel safe, complete homework, connect with positive adults, and simply be a kid. Her family is doing everything it can, but some weeks feel especially heavy.

Now imagine that Maya has access to a local youth program supported by a community that believes in her potential. A welcoming space. A caring mentor. Encouragement to finish an assignment. A chance to build confidence, make friends, and picture a future that feels a little bigger.

The checks handed out on Give Day are powerful. The work behind them is just as meaningful.

Chandler Compadres members are community leaders, business owners, neighbors, and volunteers who make time year-round to raise funds for kids and families in need. Planning events, reaching out to sponsors, setting up venues, selling tickets, welcoming guests, and showing up when it matters—those efforts add up.

Because when a community comes together with purpose, more resources can reach the youth programs doing important work in the East Valley.

Rock the Cause presents Country Nights & Neon Lights, and this year’s theme is Western Legends.

On Saturday, November 7, 2026, we’re taking over Rawhide Western Town & Event Center for an unforgettable night of live music, dancing, dinner and drinks, live and silent auctions, casino games—and a whole lot of fun for a meaningful cause.

Dust off your boots, grab your favorite cowboy hat, and come dressed as the Western legend you already are—or channel an icon such as Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Reba McEntire, John Wayne, or another silver-screen cowboy.

Most importantly, every unforgettable moment helps support kids across the East Valley.

Meet Dr. Radman “Radi” Rahimi, CEO and President of BackFit Health + Spine and the Chandler Compadres’ Social Media and Marketing Chair.

For Radi, being a Compadre means joining a group of community-minded leaders who make time—despite busy careers and family lives—to raise money for a greater cause. He is especially proud of the work that happens behind the scenes throughout the year and of the moment it all comes together on Give Day, when the Compadres can support local charities and beneficiaries serving East Valley youth.
