Integral to the experience is the back bib. All race entrants receive a front bib with their name and race number. But everyone involved with the race—from race entrants to volunteers, to race committee members and staff—will also be given a 5 x 7 back bib that says “Today, I Remember…” with a blank slate where each person can write the name(s) or event(s) he/she is remembering that day.

is back for on Saturday, October 17! The event features a 5-Mile Run and a 5K Run/Walk in and around beautiful Crystal Lake Park in Urbana. Run to Remember is an event to honor the memories of those we miss, cherish those within our midst, and work together for a peaceful tomorrow.

We invite you to use the race “space” for whatever you want to remember or lift up in your heart, a day to remember and reflect, to feel gratitude, healing, and unity.

The 5-Mile race is for runners only. The 5K race is for runners and walkers.
