Just wanted to let everyone know about a great event coming up on April 3rd for the Crisis Nursery. Let me know if you're interested in going!

You are invited to sample wines from over 20 vendors at this great event hosted by Art Mart to benefit Crisis Nursery!

Join us on Thursday, April 3 from 5-8pm, at the Hilton Garden Inn, Champaign. VIP tickets can be purchased for $30, with entry at 4pm. General admission is $20, from 5-8pm. Appetizers and desserts will be served.

Kick off your spring with wine tasting and silent auction bidding to benefit children and families in Champaign County. To purchase your tickets, head over to Art Mart (cash or check only) or Crisis Nursery (credit cards accepted). For more information, call 337-2731.

C-U Kappa Delta Alumnae Chapter Meeting - March 20th

Spring is just around the corner and hopefully some warmer weather is too! We have a meeting next Thursday, March 20th at 7:30 pm at Houlihan's (1902 South 1st Street Champaign, IL 61820). Look forward to seeing you all at our Annual Holiday Pinterest Party tomorrow night!

We’ll have a chance to reconnect and meet new alumnae in the area while sampling great treats from Pinterest. We’ll also be using this time to put together this year’s Crisis Nursery Holiday Cards, which will be sold to support the KD KiD’s vouchers.

The cards will be sold at this year’s Crisis Nursery Holiday Shop starting
on December 7.

For the party, please bring the following:

1. A Pinterest appetizer or dessert to share.

2. Ribbon or decorative string for bundling the Holiday Cards.

3. A supply item from the Crisis Nursery Art & Play Supplies Wish
List: Stickers, wonder markers, tempera paint, finger paint & paper, rainbow scratch-art
paper. These items will be donated to the Nursery as a gift from our
Alumnae chapter.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at our Movie & Dessert event tonight. We'll be meeting at the Art Theater in Champaign at 6pm to see Robert Redford's latest critically acclaimed film "All is Lost" followed by dessert at Cream & Flutter a few blocks away. Feel free to invite friends and family along and to join us at either the movie or dessert if you can't make both.

Hope everyone can join us for the C-U Kappa Delta Alumnae Association Fall Kick-off Meeting next Thursday, October 17th at 7:30 pm at Houlihan's (1902 South 1st Street Champaign, IL 61820, (217) 819-5005).

This meeting will give us a chance to all get reacquainted and meet alumnae that are new to the area. We’ll also be discussing plans for the upcoming year. Let me know if you can make it. Look forward to seeing you all!
