The SCO shows up for our kids OVER and OVER and OVER! Even on a Sunday, they were here to continue the garden renovation. This renovation started in the Spring when Lowe’s chose us for a “Home Town Heroes” project. Lowe’s donated a ton of garden materials and sent a crew to help us replace our broken down garden beds. The SCO has been continuing what Lowe’s started for us and our school couldn’t be more grateful for this group of individuals that makes our kids a priority! Thank you Lowe’s Home Improvement and thank you SCO for time, money and effort! Our garden education matters at SVE and this is so incredibly supportive of our needs! We appreciate you!

We’re getting our hands dirty before the school year kicks off! Join us this Sunday, August 30, from 8:00 AM–1:00 PM as we give our school garden a little TLC. 💚

We’re looking for volunteers to help us:
🌿 Pull weeds
🪴 Freshen up our garden beds
🌱 Disperse fresh soil
💪 Get everything looking beautiful and ready for our students!

No fancy gardening skills required—just bring yourself, a little energy, and a willingness to get dirty! 😉

📍 Meet us at the school garden

⏰ 8:00 AM–1:00 PM

Come for an hour, stay for the morning, or hang out with us for the whole garden party! Every helping hand makes a difference.

🎒 First Day of School Is Almost Here!

The countdown is on! We’re excited to welcome our students back for another great school year! 📚✨

📅 First Day of School:

Tuesday, September 8th for 1st Grade - 5th Grade

Monday, September 14th for Kindergarten

🚌 Student Drop Off begins at 7:30am. Please remember not to leave your vehicle unattended in the parent drop off lane.

A few minutes of preparation can make the first morning a whole lot smoother! We encourage families to review the daily schedule together so students know what to expect when they arrive.

We can’t wait to see our hallways filled with familiar faces, new friendships, and lots of learning! 💙
