Attention Families! We have an important announcement independent of the current fire tragedies affecting our valley. It saddens us greatly that we must make this announcement...
As many of you know, Bryan’s commitment is a Southern Oregon nonprofit focused on increasing educational opportunities for youth by providing accessible programs. Even though we are a registered nonprofit, we are still family operated and most of our operations are overseen by a select few dedicated volunteers. At this time, our family is unable to proceed with our educational support program, pre-k program, and after school program, as uncontrollable events have now shifted our focus and efforts. As much as we’d love to provide this service, being that it is very needed at this time, we are unable to provide a quality program. As we begin to navigate through our current family circumstance, we will begin to reevaluate our capacity for programs that we are able to offer in the Rogue Valley. We would like to thank everyone for your support and prayers at this time. This isn’t the end for our nonprofit, merely a small break.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause families and are deeply sorry for this. We will be issuing refunds for our Fall programs next week at our center from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]
Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to being able to still serve this community at whatever capacity it may be.
With best regards,
The Wood Family, The Price family, The Lierman Family

Bryan’s Commitment seeks to support the development of youth by providing a variety of enrichment programs and extended learning opportunities to the communities of Southern Oregon. Programs will engage in educational and character development and will be accessible to families from all socioeconomic backgrounds.
We believe that the best way to improve our community is by providing youth with opportunities that focus on personal growth. In order to achieve this, we must educate, inspire and empower them to discover and reach their full potential. By focusing on Southern Oregon, we are choosing to support communities that are often underfunded, under resourced, and underrepresented.
The programs offered by Bryan’s Commitment will be holistic based and will identify the needs of the individual child. Experiences will be adapted to create a path that is best suited for their success. All youth within our programs will be introduced to various resources and mentors that will ultimately give them an experience previously unavailable in the Rogue Valley.
All programs will be held at our new facility that we are calling, “The Discovery Center”. This facility is located directly off Crater Lake Highway and features a learning center that doubles as a performing arts area, a multi-media room, a makerspace, an art room, a recreation room, a teen center, a preschool and a full size gymnasium for a total of 12,000 square feet of indoor space. Along with this, we have 8,000 square feet of fenced outdoor area. We hope that this new center will assist in our communities’ effort to place a high emphasis on youth development, education, and the creation of opportunities. Below are some of the programs we plan to provide.
We will provide a preschool program that combines interactive technology with hands-on learning that is designed to prepare children for success in the 21 century. We will provide a program that focuses on individual children and will develop the necessary skills to excel in Kindergarten and beyond. It is our goal to foster a relationship with children and provide a curriculum that will keep them engaged and wanting to learn more.
We will provide after school and summer programs with youth enrichment opportunities and character development through a safe and creative environment. All activities are administered by professionally trained staff and follow a unique and innovative curriculum. We want to assure that our programs will give children memorable experiences while preparing them to be successful on their education pathways.
We want to provide a sports program that extends our organization's holistic education approach by providing greater opportunities in athletic development to the youth of Southern Oregon. Through sports, youth are able to learn invaluable lessons of discipline, team work, goal setting, hard work and more. By providing developmental and elite skills training, team play, camps and clinics, we are able to increase the ability and exposure of the talented youth in the Rogue Valley and provide opportunities that may assist them in getting to the next level.
We will also have a learning center set up as “home school” model where students can access educational instruction and assistance as well as various resources to provide a unique educational setting. We plan to call it Discovery School of Learning. Our learning center will provide educational assistance that works on fostering meaningful relationships with families while helping meet their needs.
We will provide opportunities for financial assistance for attendance to those families whose children are eligible for free and reduced lunch, or who are under the 120% Federal Poverty Level (FPL) guidelines established by the federal department of Health and Human Services.
