Texas High School Rodeo Association

Preserving our western heritage through the sport of rodeo, and providing scholarships. Texas High School Rodeo began in 1947 in Hallettsville, TX.

Today, there are over 100 rodeos that take place across Texas. Texas is broken into 10 different geographical region so that high school athletes can find a place to compete near them. The year ends with the Texas State High School Finals Rodeo in June.

Bull riding closed out the 2026 THSRA State Finals with a statement, and Enoch Hall is your State Champion.

Enoch was the only man to go 3-for-3 in Abilene this week, showing grit, consistency, and the kind of composure it takes to ride at the highest level.

Now it’s time to take Texas to Nationals! Enoch will be joined by Anthony Hatchett, Rowen Reyes, and Willie Walling as they represent the Lone Star State on the national stage.

Three rides. One champion. A week to remember. 🏆

HOLD ON TIGHT! A CHAMPIONSHIP RIDE TO REMEMBER
After a wild re-ride, Dal Pinner has claimed the title of 2026 THSRA State Champion in Saddle Bronc! 🏆
Dal came into Abilene ready to roll and proved he was built for the big moments. Through the ups, downs, and one unforgettable ride, he finished the week on top and earned his spot in the championship circle. 👊🏻

Now it’s time to take Texas to Nationals! Dal will be joined by Jagger Roach, Cash Sellman, and Montana Champion as they represent the Lone Star State on the national stage.

The pole bending title belongs to Kennzie Nixon — your 2026 THSRA State Champion! 🏆 A rookie who came to Abilene ready to make a statement, Kennzie was smokin’ fast all week long and showed exactly why she belongs in the championship spotlight. 💨

Now she’s headed to Nationals to represent Texas alongside Ruth Jones, Kinsley Scott, and Brittan Hill as they take on the best in the country.

The steers have been chased, the ropes have been thrown, and C**t Mason & Noah Vasquez are your 2026 THSRA State Champion Team Ropers! 🏆
Consistency was the name of the game this week in Abilene, and these two showed up every round, putting together a championship performance from start to finish.
Now they’re headed to Nationals ready to represent Texas alongside an all-star lineup: Kale Clements & Kene Bracewell, Cash Fortenberry & Stetson Springs, and Clayton Reagan & Bodie Wrobleski. ⭐
Texas knows how to rope… and these champions are ready to prove it on the national stage.

💥 THESE TEXAS GOAT TYERS DON’T PLAY AROUND 💥
The goat tying arena was on fire today in Abilene 🔥. This morning there were multiple runs clocking in under 6 seconds, these ladies proved exactly why Texas is built different. 👊🏻
And when the dust settled… we had a tie at the top! 👑👑
Congratulations to our 2026 THSRA Goat Tying Co-Champions, Sadie Patterson and Acey Autrey! 🏆
They’ll be heading to Nebraska to represent Texas at Nationals alongside Drew Ellen Stewart and Colee Cox as they show why Texas is the best in the nation.

⚡️ THE CLOCK STOPPED, THE TITLE WAS CLAIMED Case Cerny is your 2026 THSRA State Champion in Tie-Down Roping! 🏆

After coming through with the fastest time of the short go, Case sealed the deal and finished the week as the one to beat in Abilene. 🔥

Now it’s time to take Texas to Nationals! Case will be joined by Jeffery Hayes, Hudson Hermes and Ty Rogers as they make up the Texas Tie-Down Roping team headed to NHSRA Nationals.

The rope has dropped, the dust has settled, and Rylie Edens is your 2026 THSRA State Champion! 🏆
It was a race all week long with the top contenders battling it out in Abilene, but Rylie stayed sharp, stayed focused, and finished on top when it mattered most. ✨
She’ll be heading to Nationals with an incredible team beside her. Westi Myers, Quealy Probst, and Rylee Payne are ready to represent Texas on the national stage!

The barrel racing crown belongs to Meredith Wrobleski👑 A rookie cowgirl with a dream and a whole lot of determination, Meredith came to Abilene ready to make her mark, and that’s exactly what she did. Taking home two round wins this week, she showed everyone that the future is bright and the next generation is here. 🌟

Now she’s headed to Nationals with Cassidy Moore, Natalie Ohrt, and Skyler Nicholas as they proudly represent Texas on the big stage.

Rorry Johnson is your 2026 THSRA State Champion🏆
With speed, grit, and a whole lot of horsepower, Rory made his mark in Abilene. Clocking the fastest steer wrestling time of the week in Round 2 and putting together a championship performance when it mattered most. 💪🏻
Now it’s time to take Texas to Nebraska! Rorry will be joined at Nationals by Dalton Dishman, Wacey Bay, C**ton Heron, and Cade Branquinho as they chase more history on the national stage.

🏆 IT’S OFFICIALLY STATE CHAMPION TIME! 🏆
The first crown of the 2026 THSRA State Finals belongs to Kash Loyd. History was made in Abilene as Kash became the FIRST THREE-TIME THSRA State Champion in Ba****ck. Winning all three rounds this week and proving once again why he’s one of the best in the arena. 👊🏻
Kash will represent Texas at Nationals alongside Jaspur Farris, Eli Espy, and Merrick Null. They’re ready to make some noise!
Congratulations, Kash, a champion legacy written in the dirt. 🏆
