A few weeks ago, team members from our marketing department volunteered at Huerta Urbana’s Farmers Market. Huerta Urbana is just one of the programs Focus Points Family Resource Center has, this specific program is dedicated to increasing fresh healthy food access in the Denver’s Globeville and Elyria-Swansea neighborhoods. What makes this farmers market so unique is the produce sold at the market is often grown on property from Huerta Urbana’s farm.
