Cedar Valley Pit Bull Rescue 501c 3 non profit in Waterloo, IA. Our mission is to provide education and awareness in our community and a new leash on life for displaced pit bulls.

Mission:
To provide education and awareness in our community and a new leash on life for displaced pit bulls. We are a licensed pit bull rescue in Waterloo, Iowa. We work hard to match up the right dog with the right forever home and to give them a happy ending. Our dogs are in volunteer foster homes so they continue to be socialized, learn basic commands and live in a family setting while they wait to be adopted. Urgent medical foster needed!!
This female pitty was hit by a car a few days ago in Cedar Rapids, Critter Crusaders has taken her case and now she needs a foster ASAP!

She cannot be around other animals right now as she heals, if you have other animals in your home she needs to be kept seperate at all times in her own room.

If you are NOT an approved foster, read below:
Requirements for Fostering:
-All animals in the home need to be UTD on age appropriate vaccines and Spayed/Neutered
-We prefer home owners but we do accept renters on a case by case basis (houses and long term renters)
-You need to be within traveling distance of Iowa City, Cedar Rapids or Cedar Falls/Waterloo for Vetting and Events.

🎩🐾 **THE DEATH-DEFYING, MAGNIFICENT MR. SKRAP IS FINALLY READY FOR ADOPTION!** ❤️🎉

Cancer tried. **SKRAP SAID NOT TODAY!** 💪

After successful surgery, CLEAN MARGINS, and an incredible comeback, this magnificent gentleman is officially ready to find his forever family!

No further cancer treatment is recommended at this time. His future family will just need to keep an eye out for new lumps or bumps. He's only ever had one, so we're hoping that's the last we'll ever see! 🤞❤️

But before you rush to apply, Skrap would like to conduct a little interview. He has standards, you know. 😂

We are looking for sponsors for these dogs.
They were abandoned in Waterloo.
The owner moved out of state and left door and gate open for them to leave.
We were contacted by landlord, who asked us to help.
The female-Bluebell has no hair and is so sweet. She warms up quickly and is a submissive female. She is about 2 yrs old
Maximus is a little older about 4 yrs and is cautious. Once he warms up he is fine.
We were told they had been yelled at alot and these two just wanted to be loved.
We are looking for foster homes for them.
We are grateful the landlord is wanting whats best for them.

We need a foster or adopter for Merrick by 10/26!!
This handsome little guy had a rough start to life, him and his brother arrived as strays (assumed from the same house) in Idabel Oklahoma. They were on a euthanasia list and we saved them just in time and he needs a foster or adopter asap!!!

-Around 7 months old
-Unknown with cats
-Good with other dogs
-Unknown with kids but he’s young and we think he would be okay!

Molly came to Cedar Valley Pit Bull Rescue through no fault of her own. Her beloved person became too ill to care for her any longer, and now this deserving girl is looking for someone new to love.
She gets along well with other dogs when given a slow, proper introduction. Cats, rabbits, and squirrels aren't recommended for her at this time, so a critter-free home would be best.

*Also, are we sure she’s part rottweiler? I’d be willing to argue a shepherd mix. Her coat, ears, build, temperament all say german/aussie shepherd – lab mix to me. Just throwing that out there.
